I woke up and took a few pictures of the kids sleeping because they looked so adorable. Maverick was cuddled up to Hudson all night and it was so sweet. Hud is a really good brother and was very attentive and sweet with Mav the whole time they were here. Mav had a little accident in his sleep but didn't tell me about it. He just walked up and said "I want to change clothes" and I took him to his bag and he went to the bathroom and changed. He left his clothes in the bathroom so I picked them up and my hunch was confirmed as I felt they were wet. I washed them without saying anything to him because I didn't want him to feel embarrassed. I washed all the blankets as well, but thankfully he had been sleeping on the floor so it wasn't a big deal to get everything cleaned up. Pappy made us his famous pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Afterwards he went outside to mow. The kids took a turn driving his mower for a few minutes but it was too hot for them and they came back inside. We played some more tensies and Mae continued to beat us! I started to cook lunch and Mia played match with Mav and then Hud and Mae joined in. I made tacos and cheese dip for lunch and Lyle and Emily came over to eat with us and visit for the day. We talked and told lots of stories and laughed a bunch. They went outside and tossed the football around and we all went out and took a few group pictures. I jumped and danced around like a complete goober trying to get maverick to smile and I didn't know Emily was taking pictures of me until she sent it to me and I cracked up at how ridiculous I looked! I will do anything to get a kid to smile for a picture!! This was kind of our belated Father's Day celebration since I was sick and some of the kids were at camp on father's day. It's so crazy how grown up everyone is now! We've got grandbaby Eli on the way soon! We are all so excited to meet him! We had a wonderful weekend spending time with Lyle and his family. We hope to make more time for these kinds of get togethers moving forward!
